I am running ViEmu right now on my Visual Studio 2003 IDE. Works great!

Now I'm going to install VS2005, and I will be running it side-by-side with 2003.

Do I need to reinstall ViEmu for use with 2005, or will it be automatically picked up?

If I need to reinstall ViEmu, are there any gotchas?

Hi Marc,

It shouldn't be necessary to reinstall ViEmu. It works fine with both, and since the registry entries are written already, it should work from the first time.

One thing that may happen is that keybindings might be wrongly altered. If that happens, you will notice that backspace/return or arrow keys may not work in insert mode. I explained here how to restore them if that happens:
