I just tried to match the string 'a' (with the quotes). However in the document, the quotes have been smart-ified. But since this is a word-document, I need to keep the smartified quotes. Is there any way to get viEmu for Word to treat literal quote marks as smart-quote equivalent?

Hi,

What build of ViEmu/Word and Outlook are you using? Around build 1.0.7 or so I added support to match smart quotes (single, double, and "German style"), the same as long dashes with hyphens, and a few more ('.' matches the single character '...' ellipsis too).

Please make sure you are using the latest build (link available at the sticky post at the top of the forum), and if it doesn't work in some case, just send me a sample document with the character and I'll add support for it. I might have easily missed some auto-correction!
