Does anyone know how to stop Visual Studio from automatically adding the closing double quote. This is really annoying since you have to skip around the closing quote after finishing what you have typed. I've checked all the options and I can't see where you disable this.

Hm... what language are you editing in? It's not a general feature, I think - it's either language specific, or provided by some other 3rd party add-in.

C#. Hum, I wonder if its on of the other addons I have installed. That would explain why I could not find it in the standard options. Duh!

Possibly. Given C#, maybe Resharper, Coderush, or Visual Assist?

I found it - it was in CodeSMART. Was doing all kind of auto matching - turned that stuff off.
