I uninstalled ViEmu from Word and Outlook and now I can no longer type in Word 2007. I tried installing ViEmu again and that didn't work. Now I can't edit with Word, its as if I'm always stuck in command mode even when ViEmu is disabled/uninstalled.

Any thoughts?

This is very weird... if you have uninstalled it, can you go to the installation folder (typically "C:\Program Files\ViEmuW") and verify that the main DLL file (ViEmuW.dll) is not there?

The uninstall process removes the file in normal cases, but there might have been some problem with that.

If the DLL is not present, it's impossible that ViEmu can interfere with Word's or Outlook's input process.

The ViEmuW folder is empty but yet when I open Word there is still the ViEmu Settings icon under the add ins menu, although clicking on it does nothing. The issue still persists.
