Settings not available, but maybe I can somehow change it to use studio selection for visual mode?

Not implemented yet, sorry. It seems more people miss it, so we need to implement it... thanks for the feedback!

I am not sure if your earlier versions had something similar, but what would be awesome is if I could use visual selection and then press some key combination (Ctrl-Shift-S or something) to then convert that visual selection into a studio selection.

Bitdrifter, thanks for the suggestion. We had a "gS" command in ViEmu/VS "Classic". We'll see what makes sense for VS2010. Regards, - Jon
