Re: BUG: Incremental Search requires checkout

Whenever I perform an incremental search in a file that is not checked out of TFS, when I hit Enter after entering my search term I am prompted to checkout the file from TFS.  If I do not allow the checkout, then the search is cancelled.  I should not be required to checkout a file in order to perform a text search in a file.

What I'm using:

- Visual Studio 2010
- TFS 2010
- Source control settings are to prompt before checkout rather than auto-checkout.
- ViEmu 2.5.13 for VS 2010

Example of reproducing this is easy.  I open any file in my solution and type: "/search-term<enter>"  When I type <enter>, I am prompted to checkout the file.  This should not happen.

Any ideas?  Am I doing something wrong?  This appears to be a bug to me.

Its also happening for me as well.

Re: BUG: Incremental Search requires checkout

It appears to happen with any command.
To reproduce, open any file under TFS source control and type":q" or ":noh" or ":/class"

Re: BUG: Incremental Search requires checkout

Any update on this issue? I'm seeing it in version 2.5.14.

Re: BUG: Incremental Search requires checkout

Hi Ory,

This issue is about some incompatibilty between TFS 2010 and ViEmu, but ViEmu is not specifically designed to work in TFS 2010.

Anyway we still working on it, and maybe will be fixed in the next ViEmu release.
Regards.
